Glassbox Media
Glassbox Media is a podcast company that partners with podcasters to handle ad sales, partnerships, and marketing so creators can focus on content. This project aims to modernize the outdated website. As a growing startup with limited name recognition, the wensite is often the first impression made on prosepctive clients. A redesign offers the chance to better reflect our professionalism, build trust, and clearly show the value we provide to creators and brands.
Surveys with 10 podcasters found Glassbox’s site unclear and visually unappealing described as “bland yet busy,” lacking excitement, and failing to convey the network’s unique benefits.
Analysis of The Podglomerate, Lemonada, and Podcast One showed that their layouts and messaging quickly build credibility—for example, Lemonada highlights star talent right on the homepage.
Glassbox leadership wanted to keep the signature bright red as a core brand element, but in a more intentional way. To guide that, I studied how studios like Wolff Olins, RGA, and Huge use bold color to guide how Glassbox could do the same.
Stuctured the homepage around “How We Grow Your Show” so that podcasts immediately understand the company’s value to them. I also expanded the color palate beyomd beyond just red, white, and black and used the red more strategicly for greater impact.
Replaced the mailto link with a clear contact page.
Replaced AI generated images of podcast microphones with images of people and created a carousel of our brand partners.
Featured brands with name recognition to build instant credibility.
I added icons to break up the text heavy sections into something more digestible at a glance.
